The Quikspray RFR range is a purpose-built series of rural fire reels engineered for reliable hose management on firefighting tankers, agricultural spray units and industrial applications. Built to order in Australia, every RFR unit is designed to reduce manual handling, improve deployment speed and perform in demanding conditions — with left or right hand water inlet available across the range.

The range progresses from manual through to fully remote-controlled operation:

  • RFR-1 — Manual rewind: 4 stainless steel rollers, 180° hose feed in/out, reel lock and friction brake. The entry-level unit for operators who need a robust, no-power-required solution.
  • RFR-2 — Electric powered rewind (12V or 24V): Heavy duty Linix gearbox motor, 4 stainless steel rollers, 180° hose feed in/out, powerful and consistent retraction, reel lock and friction brake. Available in 12V or 24V to suit vehicle electrical systems.
  • RFR-3 — Self-guiding powered reel (12V or 24V): Adds an Archimedes shaft self-feed hose guide and 6 HDPE rollers for hands-free, evenly layered hose rewind. Hose feeds in at 180° and out at 60°. Reel lock and friction brake standard.
  • RFR-4 — Remote controlled self-guiding reel (12V): Includes all RFR-1/2/3 features plus 360°, 100m range remote control operation, manual override button for power retraction and a manual handle for backup hand rewind. Also available in a DELWP/G-Wagon spec configuration for fire agency fleet fitment.

All RFR reels are made to order — allow 4 weeks for manufacturing and dispatch.

Supporting components stocked for the RFR range include Linix S4 gearbox motors (12V and 24V), AX55, AX56 and AX59 V-belts, ½" and 1" MF swivels, an RFR index clamping handle S/S, black manual/electric handles, a T400 gun holder bracket, ½" ID nylon hose stopper, 12V 40A diode-protected relay, 915MHz radio receiver module (suits RFR-4, 12VS, QR50) and a radio poly board for 12VS/QR50/RFR systems.
