Radio Transmission & Receiver Components

Quikspray's radio transmission and receiver components range covers the complete electrical control system for wireless remote operation of agricultural spray reels and units — from plug-and-play upgrade kits through to individual receiver boards, transmitters, aerials, relays and switches for repair and custom builds.

Complete plug-and-play radio upgrade kits make adding wireless control straightforward. The single 915MHz upgrade kit (suits 5SDE/M and 9SDE) includes a new radio box, lid, single receiver board, one transmitter and one aerial. The double 915MHz upgrade kit (suits 9TBE and 9TDE twin-reel units) includes twin receiver boards, two aerials and two transmitters. All upgrade kits are assembled per order — allow 2–5 business days.

Individual receiver boards and assemblies are stocked across the full Quikspray range. Options include the single 915MHz receiver with module, terminal block and relay (suits 9SDE, 5SDE, PTO, UTV), the double 915MHz receiver (suits 9TBE, 9TDE, 10TBE, 13TBE), the 2-channel 915MHz receiver without module (suits 9SDE/9TBE/10TBE), and the 1-channel 915MHz receiver with relays (suits 12VS, QR50, SM, RS). The 915MHz receiver module suits 12VS, QR50 and RFR-4 fire reels. Complete 2-channel motherboards for both single and double wired configurations are also available. The Radio RCM 12VS 915MHz (04/2013 to present) is a complete 1-channel motherboard unit for the 12VS reel. A pre-regulator voltage protection board suits pre-April 2013 units.

The 915MHz radio transmitter suits 12VS, QR50, QR100, PTO, RFR and UTV systems. Protective pouches are available in standard leather (suits 27MHz and 915MHz transmitters) and silicone versions for field use.

Aerials cover the full frequency history of Quikspray systems. 915MHz aerials include the M922 black (QR100/QR200/QR400/12VS/RFR, 2007 to present), the short SMA 915MHz antenna (QR100P/QR200), and the 915MHz base with 300mm low-loss wire. Legacy options include the 27MHz top-loaded aerial (pre-2021 9SDE/9TBE/9TDE/10TBE/12VS), the M430 black 433MHz fibreglass aerial (12VS 2007–2009), the FDW430 black short aerial, and the 27MHz rubber duck black antenna for FTB units. Aerial mounting hardware includes the MB10 standard black rubber aerial base (22mm hole), aerial base with 2300mm coaxial cable, and a heavy-duty aerial spring for flexibility when operating near tree branches — suits 12VS, QR200, QR400, 9SDE, 9TBE, 9TDE and 10TBE.

Electrical switching components include a 20A toggle on/off switch and momentary push-button switch for control panel mounting, a 12V 40A normally open diode-protected relay (suits all standard models and RFR series), a 12V 70A heavy-duty relay for 12VS/QR50 high-current applications, and a radio tuning wire for re-tuning 433MHz receiver boards (June 2003–July 2007). Radio housing components include poly boards for 12VS/QR50/RFR, SM poly boards, poly insulator aerial boards, the SM/RS radio box (G113), and a Clipsal junction box for 12VS.
